Quickstart
Install the CLI, set up a repository and create your first receipt.
Coming soon
The CLI is not released yet. The commands below show the planned flow. They do not work today.
You need a GitHub account and Claude Code or Codex.
Install the CLI
brew install euthyne-labs/tap/euthyneAn install script for systems without Homebrew is also planned.
Set up a repository
cd your-repo
euthyne initinit does the whole first run:
- It signs you in with GitHub through a device code, if you are not signed in yet.
- It detects Claude Code and Codex.
- It creates a device key in your OS keychain. Your OS may ask you to allow this.
- It installs the hooks for this repository only.
- It signs a test receipt and prints its ID with a link to the dashboard.
Codex runs a hook only after you trust it. init ends by asking you to open /hooks in Codex and trust the Euthyne hook.
To share the hook setup with your team, run euthyne init --shared and commit the file it writes. Teammates who do not have the CLI are not blocked by it.
Work as usual
Use Claude Code or Codex as you normally do. Each tool call creates a receipt on your machine. The CLI uploads receipts in the background, and keeps them on disk while you are offline.
euthyne statusstatus shows how many receipts are still waiting to upload.
Check your latest receipt
euthyne verify --lastA new receipt is signed at once and recorded in the log within seconds. The independent timestamp follows a few hours later. Until then the receipt shows as Witnessed, timestamp pending. See Trust levels.
Change receipts
Receipts for merged pull requests need the Euthyne GitHub App on your GitHub organization. An organization owner installs it. See Changes.
